Overview of the Program

ING Investment Management’s (ING IM’s) 10-week summer internship program offers a challenging and rewarding experience for both undergraduate and graduate students by providing an opportunity to apply the knowledge acquired in the classroom in a fast-paced, real-world investment environment. Summer interns have the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled, experienced managers and specialists dedicated to enriching the overall internship experience.

During the course of the program, interns will be immersed in projects and activities related to their assigned team. Interns will be paired with an informal mentor within their department to ensure they are provided with a challenging and rewarding work experience. Additionally, interns will be able to participate in several learning activities throughout the summer.

Internships are available in our Atlanta, GA, New York City, NY, Scottsdale, AZ, and Windsor, CT locations across various departments. Summer interns are assigned to a department based on their career interests, major, related coursework, past internship experiences, and the business need.

Program Eligibility

The summer internship program targets currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students interested in careers in the financial services industry. Our focus is on identifying and introducing diverse talent to the firm.
